Education for All survey
Education International (EI) has launched a worldwide survey on teaching and learning conditions, with the aim of bridging the gap between policy making and the reality of the classroom. The survey is accessible online until the end of July and is part of EI’s assessment of Education for All. The results will be presented to UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon later this year. You can access the survey by visiting EI’s website at www.ei-ie.org.
Screen-Free Week
Screen-Free Week runs from May 5 –11. This international celebration encourages children, families, schools and communities to spend seven days turning off entertainment screen media (except for work and school assignments, of course). It’s a time to unplug and play, read, daydream, create, explore nature and spend time with family and friends. Check out Screen-Free Week activities at www.screenfree.org/.

Share your views on the 2015 EFA Global Monitoring Report
The 2015 Education for All Global Monitoring Report (EFA GMR) reviews how much the EFA movement has contributed to ensuring that all children, young people and adults have benefited from the right to an education that meets their basic learning needs. The report will provide a definitive assessment of overall progress at the national, regional and global level toward the six EFA goals that were established in Dakar, Senegal, in 2000. To share your views, visit the EFA GMR blog or e-mail your comments to efareport@unesco.org, with #edpost2015 as a subject heading.
